ArduinoCO2SensorProject. Measuring CO2 in classrooms or other closed spaces allows us to check if the ventilation system is bringing in fresh air to replace the air with CO2 we are breathing out. If somebody has COVID19 in a room, they are breathing out virus particles and CO2. As CO2 accumulates virus particles also accumulate. We can measure the CO2 levels to understand how much virus ...

Measure CO2 Levels With Ardunio and K30 Sensor : 9 Steps ...

While the Arduino''s 5V power is theoretically able to power the K30, the sensor needs 300mA minimum to operate the light inside the sensor. The problem is, if you power the Arduino from your PC''s USB port, the K30 has to share power with the Arduino, your mouse, and any other devices on the USB bus. The power to the sensor will drop under 300mA, and it won''t operate properly.

Arduino CO Monitor Using MQ7 Sensor : 8 Steps (with ...

But here''s the problem: Arduino can''t provide enough power to run this sensor from its pins sensor''s heater requires 150 mA, while Arduino pin can provide no more than 40 mA, so if attached directly, Arduino pin will burn and sensor still won''t work. So we must use some kind of current amplifier that takes small input current to control large output current.

Dissolved CO2 sensor Sensors Arduino Forum

06/05/2021· Using Arduino. Sensors. system October 22, 2012, 7:21pm 1. I’m looking to build a sensor for an algae project which reads out the dissolved CO2 content of the algae tanks. This is not easy because the water is opaque and mucky, it’s dissolved, not gaseous CO2, and since the pH is not constant in algae tanks, one cannot use a pH calculation. I’ve been thinking that I could 1) filter and ...
